Butler Plaza Central

The work consisted of demolition of the existing façade and storefront and the construction of a new façade and new storefront. This project was built in 2014, 8,900 SF Façade with a value of $422,000. It included towers on the roof, acrylic panels with multicolor changing light, color concrete walks, stack stone at the columns, EIFS finishes, upgraded lighting and a new roof. The work was performed and completed while all tenants remained open.

Kappa Alpha Theta

In 2015, this sorority house gained a new addition of 2,190 SF with a project value of $440,000. The addition work consisted of adding a new chapter hall/dining room addition to the existing house, which included sitework, rerouting of utilities, upgrade to electrical service and new construction.

Firestone Building

This historic building was originally built in 1927, with a later addition added in 1932.  After being left mostly abandoned and vacant for over forty years, Joyner Construction, Inc. began a massive renovation on the building, with a demolition, structural, and buildout phase included in the project.  Joyner Construction, Inc. maintained the building’s historical attributes while bringing it up to current code.  This building received an award after construction for adaptive reuse by the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.

Florida Capital Bank

The site work and new construction of this 7500 SF, two story building was constructed in 2008 reaching a project cost of $2 million. The building included masonry, concrete, structural steel, two storm glass vestibules with open steel stairwell, Travertine tile and stained wood trim throughout.

Oak Hall School Administrative Building

In 2013, site work and demolition of a new single story 3,600 SF building was built with a project value of $700,000.00. The building included a café in the break area, masonry exterior walls with stone and stucco finish, smooth drywall on metal stud interior walls, wood trusses with plywood deck and shingle roof.

Institute of Veterinary Specialist

This new construction project was built in 2014 with a value of 1.1 Million dollars. The project consisted of site work and construction of a new single story full service veterinary office building with covered parking. The exterior finishes include stone, EIFS and stained wood exposed beams. The energy saving features included spray foam insulation in the attic, combination of high efficiency DX and mini split units, LED lighting and exterior window sun shades.

UF Shands Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center

This was an interior remodel of the 2nd floor commercial building in 2013 with a complete demolition of office space and installation of infrastructure for hyperbaric chambers, medical offices and exam rooms. Also, we built the structure and infrastructure for remote 1500 gallon medical gas storage tank to support hyperbaric chambers, bringing this project to $ 500,000.00.

Butler Town Center

New façade for shopping center consisting of Fascia finishes, roofing, soffits, lighting, new fountains, and pools which was built in 2014. This project has a value of $600,000.00.

Esplanade

In 2008, JCI remodeled 745 SF of the existing building adding storefront windows, roofing modifications at the façade, new soffit and fascia, new lighting, and masonry and stone at the columns. This was a 1.4 million dollar project.

Holy Trinity Episcopalian Church

This daycare/school was a remodel and new construction in 2014, which was a 1.4 million dollar, 13,000 SF building. This daycare/school is for infants thru 6 years old children. The project was for new masonry and existing masonry walls, reroof existing roof and add new roof over new construction, interior furnishes, new playground and rework existing parking and utilities.
